Inclusive Life Community Foundation
With your help, we will fulfill a need that is not being fulfilled in our community. We are helping people who need urgent care for the mind, counseling, advocacy and crisis refuge.
Many professionals, community service agencies and clergy know, human services in Nebraska and Iowa are receiving failing grades. Right now the reality is, the rules and regulations created by governmental and private agencies exclude many people who “fall through the cracks.” Some people need urgent care, food, or shelter. Some need to set up periodic counseling. Some need an advocate to help navigate the changing health care system and make the most of the benefits available to them. The Inclusive Life Community Foundation is resolved to include all people in our community.
Inclusive Life Chaplain Royal Bush and The Clearview Center Executive Director Bob Neve have a vision to build a community of care that would share their gratitude for the love and compassion they found in their spiritual walk and life journey. A vision that goes far beyond just recruiting or hiring people just to do a job; it’s about creating a community of care based on acceptance for all, compassion for all, and love for all, without exception; it’s about family preservation, individual preservation and relief for the distressed and underprivileged.
INCLUSIVE LIFE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The foundation will offer four pillars of service; Urgent Care for the Mind, Crisis Refuge, Counseling, and Advocacy.
URGENT CARE FOR YOUR MIND
We will offer the first Urgent Care Center for those experiencing a non-life threatening, mental health crises in this region. By providing immediate access to mental health professionals for assessment and service, many who go un-served, un-helped and without care will have a chance to get help when they need it the most.
Providing both a center that will offer a drop in center and temporary refuge housing. The Crisis Refuge program will serve individuals, couples and families that are not traditionally served by area and existing shelter programs. It is about preserving families, and serving all without exception.
What do these people have in common: Princess Diana, Sheryl Crow, Janet Jackson, Oprah Winfrey, Harrison Ford, Anne Hathaway, Ken Griffey, Jr., John D. Rockafeller, Johnny Carson, Drew Carey, Anne Rice, and James Taylor? Who do you know in your life who has been affected by addiction, depression, anxiety? Most people in America today are not only familiar with and accepting of mental health therapy, but encourage it for their friends and loved ones in need. it doesn’t have the same stigma that it used to.
All these conditions are treatable. We know what to do to relieve people’s suffering. The effectiveness of substance abuse and mental health therapy is far better than it was 40 years ago. It is not just for “those” people anymore. Today it is about moms, dads, co-workers, friends, and family who live next door to you.
We resolve to use continuously improving leading edge treatment methods, going far beyond “what everyone else does” or what most do now by integrating evidence based counseling and scientific research that will allow us to provide diverse world-class professional counseling services.
We will integrate our counseling services with advocacy and case management. Our advocates will provide real-time, hands on assistance and care that goes beyond just handing someone a referral card; we demonstrate that someone actually cares about the outcome and journey they are on in making their life better. By collaborating with the many knowledgeable, experienced and existing agencies, organizations and professionals, those we serve have access to the best possible care and services that the community has to offer.
Helping People Help People
We resolve to make this Foundation perpetually sustaining by developing social enterprises (business ventures) to create multiple revenue streams. Many of those we serve need jobs that we resolve to create in the form of light manufacturing, food services, labor services, or clinical research organizations. Everyone who receives our services commits to helping others in the future to get through what they’ve been through.
“First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.”
Pastor Neimoller’s words apply to helping others today! The Inclusive Life Community Foundation needs your help to help people, help people. There will be a time that you, a family member, a friend, someone you care about, a neighbor, a co-work, or a class mate will need help; and when that time comes know that you helped create this world-class, leading edge community.
Inclusive Life is asking for your help. Some of our start up costs have been funded. Our next step is to raise $5,000 to complete the process of incorporating the foundation and begin a grant writing campaign.
Will you help? $10 $20 $50 $100 $500 will go a long way to help us reach our $5,000 goal. For those in a position to give a larger amount, that would help us realize our goal of purchasing a building to house these services. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we would be happy to work with you on how your gift will be used.
